SR-100/200 In-Line Slitter-Rewinders from LABELMATE USA provide a clean, in-line solution that consolidates this process into a single step that slits and rewinds multiple-across rows of material into individual rolls directly as they are printed.

The key element of the SR-100/200 Slitter-Rewinders is their ability to rewind and slit directly in-line with the printer without placing any stress on the printer. A free-hanging loop of material is formed between the printer and the SR-100/200, and an optical sensor on the SR-100/200 detects when the printer is active. As material is fed into the free-hanging loop, the SR-100/200 rewinds and slits it. When the printer stops printing, the SR-100/200 automatically stops rewinding. This unique tensionless connection between the printer and the Slitter/Rewinder eliminates the need to first rewind the entire printed roll and then move it to separate slitting equipment, thereby streamlining your finishing process and saving you both time and money.

The SR-100/200 are built to order for use with your specific printer model. In other words, the units are configured for placement on either the left or right side of the printer, enabling you to select the version that best suits the configuration of your production line.

Which model is right for you depends primarily on the width of your media and the number of rows you are slitting. Depending on the model selected, these In-Line Slitter-Rewinders can accommodate maximum media widths of either 6 inches (152mm; SR-100) or 10 inches (254mm; SR-200) and are equipped with either two or three slitting blades. Additional blades can be added to either unit as desired. Both units can process media as narrow as 0.5 inches (12.7mm). Accordingly, the SR-100/200 provide the ability to accommodate the vast majority of labels and printers on the market today.

SR-100/200 Slitter-Rewinders accommodate rolls up to 8.5 inches (216mm) in diameter, and include Aluminum Separator Disks that are placed between the finish rolls as they are slit and rewound. These Separator Disks maintain the finish rolls separated and flush as they are rewound.

Do you need to count your labels while they are being slit and rewound? The SR-100/200 has you covered. An optional Label Counter can be added to these units as well. The optional PCS-2 Digital Preset Scaling Counter enables the units to simultaneously count multiple-across rows of labels as they are slit and rewound.
