The OMNI-CAT virtually eliminates this concern by automatically synchronizing with the printer while minimizing stress on the media path. It also automatically stops when the end of the roll is reached, providing reliable unattended operation and protecting valuable label stock.

Three switch-selectable Tension Arm operating modes allow the system to optimize for virtually any application. Standard Mode provides the highest amount of web tension, producing a tighter finish roll for general rewinding applications. Sync Mode reduces the tension transmitted to the printer to virtually zero, making it ideal for sensitive color printers that frequently back-feed media. Bypass Mode completely disengages the Tension Arm, allowing the rewinder to operate independently when tension control is not required. This flexibility allows a single OMNI-CAT to adapt to a wide variety of printers, media types, and production environments.

For users seeking even greater tension, the OMNI-CAT can be equipped with an optional Tensioning Roller Assembly. This accessory applies additional winding pressure directly to the finished roll, producing an exceptionally tight, near factory-quality rewind without transferring additional stress back to the printer. The result is a professionally wound roll that is ideal for storage, shipping, or downstream label application.

The OMNI-CAT product line is available in multiple models to accommodate media widths up to 10.5 inches, depending on the model selected.
