LABELMATE USA’s ZCAT Tensioning Rewinders introduce a free-hanging loop of material between the printer and the Rewinder thereby eliminating any and all tension or strain that would otherwise be placed on the printer. An optical sensor on the ZCAT Tensioning Rewinders syncs the Rewinder together in perfect harmony with the printer. Additionally, the fully adjustable tension control of the ZCAT Tensioning Rewinders enables you to obtain a tightly wound finish roll that is as close to original factory quality as possible. ZCAT Tensioning Rewinders are also auto-leveling in order to achieve an even roll edge of impeccable quality.

The ZCAT Rewinder that will work best for you depends on the printer model you are using, and the maximum width of the media you are rewinding:

• ZCAT-6: Maximum Media Width of 6.5” (165mm)
• ZCAT-8: Maximum Media Width of 8.5” (222mm)
• ZCAT-10: Maximum Media Width of 10.5” (266mm)

Each ZCAT Rewinder is available in a left-side (L) or right-side (R) configuration in order to suit your printer model. In other words, if the Rewinder will be placed on the left side of the printer, you will need an (L) version of the Rewinder; and conversely, if the Rewinder will be placed on the right side of the printer, you will need an (R) version instead. Simply specify which configuration you prefer at the time of order, and we will build your ZCAT Rewinder accordingly.
