OMNI-CAT-6

The new OMNI-CAT Rewinder/Unwinder is the most intelligent and universal Winder in the LABELMATE product line, and can function as either a Rewinder or an Unwinder. The OMNI-CAT synchronizes with the printer and automatically and intuitively changes direction with the printer without the need of any operator intervention. This makes the OMNI-CAT the ideal companion for printers that back-feed or that are tension-sensitive. The OMNI-CAT also senses when the end of roll is reached and automatically stops rewinding.

The OMNI-CAT includes three (3) switch-selectable settings for the Tension Arm: Standard, Sync, and Bypass. Standard mode provides the most tension, thereby yielding a tighter finish-roll; Sync mode decreases the tension felt by the printer to virtually nothing; and Bypass mode deactivates the Tension Arm completely.

In the event even more tension is desired, an optional Tensioning Roller Assembly can be added to the Winder to achieve a near-factory quality finish-roll. The Tensioning Roller Assembly firmly tightens the finish-roll without placing any stress on the printer.
